COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

We are dedicated to helping renew our communities with their various projects, revitalization plans, and town development ideas.  We realize that towns often rely on local business's support and contributions to make projects successful and come to fruition.  For us, local outreach is all about fostering a relationship with our community by making a direct, hands-on impact whenever we can.

Shelby Crushed Stone is also proud to support various charities including:

  • Hartland Independence Day Committee

  • Niagara Hospice

  • DeSales Catholic School

  • National Child Safety Council

  • Cambria Volunteer Fire Company

  • Lancaster Heat Girls Travel Softball League

  • Ride for Roswell

During the Blizzard of 2022, Shelby Crushed Stone supplied a loader and operator to the Town of Shelby and helped dig out the town.

We specifically cleared a route to the Job Corps location and helped get aid to the children stranded there.

MEDINA DOG PARK

The Medina Dog Park on North Gravel Road added some features to make the site more appealing – to people.

A gazebo and four small shades will provide some shade for people bringing their dogs to the county’s only dog park.

Next year they will hopefully be adding an obstacle course and a new fenced in area to the west for smaller dogs.

Since 1948, Youngstown Lions volunteer heroes have continued to serve the Porter, Youngstown & Ransomville, NY communities when there is a need.

Their key areas of focused service projects are to assist those with visual challenges, feeding those that are hungry, diabetes awareness, assisting with our local environmental areas of concern, and childhood cancer.

Cambria Asphalt Products has donated stone to help keep their park exceptional.
